The Grand Ole Opry/Ryman Auditorium team reached out to Peterson after finding out about our services via online research. They wanted to develop a program for their retail store to sell both framed and unframed (prints only) commemoration photos of the Grand Ole Opry.
Working with the team at Opry, together we selected four images to use. We then discussed framing options, packing, bulk and individual packing for both their retail operation and for fulfillment.
In terms of the framing options, we decided on an elegant, simple and clean approach. We added a classic white mat and plexi glass so as to minimize breakage in handling, keeping in mind that the customer would be individually shipping these items from their online retail shop. Plexi glazing is also a great option for mitigating risks in high traffic areas.
During project discovery and research, we also created a packing that would allow safe shipment within the contiguous United States (via ups) for any individual shipments. For shipping prints only from our location to end users, we created a retail packing that would display each image, with a hard backing board and polybag covering (with UPC sticker applied). Prints would then be inserted and shipped in a small mailing tube.
Future expansion on this project will include more elaborate framing options, both in showcasing multiple imagery in one frame and with selecting frame moulding that will be more consistent with the wood carvings and deep mahogany of the interior of the venues themselves.
All printing was done in house in a high quality luster paper. The project consisted of 200 total framed pieces and 100 additional prints.
